Bioplex

The Bio-Plex 200 System allows to quantify over 500 different proteins and peptides simultaneously in a single 12.5 µl sample using the Luminex xMAP technology. 

The system utilizes microsphere beads with distinct spectral properties, allowing for the detection of multiple analytes within the same sample. Each bead is coated with capture molecules (such as antibodies or oligonucleotides) specific to a particular analyte, enabling selective binding and detection.​

The system offers flexibility in assay design, allowing researchers to customize multiplex assays according to their specific experimental needs. Users can select from a wide range of commercially available assay panels or develop custom assays tailored to their research interests.
